DRS alumni gather in Eretz Yisroel

DRS is proud of its alumni who spend a year following high school learning in yeshivot in Eretz Yisroel.

Every year, the menahel, Rabbi Yisroel Kaminetsky, together with Director of Israel Guidance Rabbi Avi Weber and Mashgiach Ruchani Rabbi Aryeh Cohen visit alumni learning in nearly 20 venues in Israel.

The DRS team reconnects with their students and continue to strengthen the rebbe-talmud relationship nurtured at DRS, documenting each student’s experiences in order to better assist DRS students when they are choosing where to go to yeshiva in the future.

Ninety-six percent of DRS alumni decide to spend a year after high school learning in Eretz Yisroel.

Rabbi Cohen holds an annual Sholosh Seudos for alumni, this year hosted by Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh. Eighty alumni attended (some pictured here), singing well after Shabbos was over.
