Rabbi Kenneth Hain, rav of Beth Sholom in Lawrence, spoke at the Memorial Day commemoration in Andrew J. Parise Park. “Today is a sacred day of remembering those who made it possible to live here in freedom and security and we have an obligation to demonstrate our gratitude,” he said.
