Surprise: Huckabee cheers Democrat Clinton on Israel

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee surprised some observers by praising former President Bill Clinton’s handling of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Huckabee said he wishes more Democrats understood what Clinton learned during negotiations with Yasser Arafat in the 1990s. Sharing video of Clinton’s 2024 remarks, Huckabee highlighted Clinton’s claim that the Palestinians rejected a deal that would have created a state on nearly all of the West Bank. Huckabee also singled out Sen. John Fetterman as one of the few Democrats who shares that view.
