The Parker Jewish Institute’s annual gala, set for Nov. 12 at the Village Club at Lake Success, will raise funds to enhance programs and services for the thousands who depend on the New Hyde Park facility for care.
The gala will honor SmartLinx, a workforce management company, in recognition of the firm’s generous support of Parker and its mission.
Kosher and Indian cuisine will be available upon request. Radio host Rabbi Joseph Potasnik will lead the motzi, and news reporter Marla Diamond will serve as master of ceremonies. Entertainment will include a performance by jazz and R&B vocalist Wanda Houston.
Guests will also have an opportunity to bid in the Patient Artwork Auction, which showcases the creativity of Parker’s talented artists.
“We’re so thankful to our donors and sponsors, and to our volunteers. Their dedication helps improve the lives of so many people in our community,” said Michael N. Rosenblut, who leads the New Hyde Park facility.
