The Jewish Star is looking for a journalist qualified to serve as editor of this newspaper, a rare opportunity to lead a quality publication within the Orthodox community.
While newspapers around the country are closing right and left, those in our communities are thriving. Admittedly, The Jewish Star is not the biggest Jewish newspaper on Long Island, but we may be the best, always “kosher and fat free.” We’re published by a long-established family-run company that began in Lawrence more than 50 years ago.
Our new editor will work with me to shape an even better Jewish Star for the years ahead.
Respond yourself (to Jobs@TheJewishStar.com) or make a shidduch — pass this along to someone who might fit the bill.
Meanwhile, let me wish all of you a chag samayach. We’ll be taking our annual Sukkos break next week but The Jewish Star will be back, B”H, on Wednesday, Oct. 14 (once again including our popular school news section).
