HANC notes Noach with pony rides

Early Childhood students in HANC’s Reinstein Family Campus in West Hempstead engaged in a variety of hands-on experiences to bring learning to life.

What better way to explore parshat Noach than with a special visit from “Steppin’ Out Ponies.” The children loved feeding and petting a variety of animals, but their favorite part was walking the new HANC fields on ponies.

Back in their classrooms, the children enjoyed sorting animals as they walked two by two to the tayva, and after learning about the different levels of the tayva, they created one of their own using pom poms and other materials.

Then they enjoyed a Noach-centric culinary experience: animal crackers.
