HANC EC fire safety

To commemorate Fire Safety month, HANC children discussed in their classrooms what to do in case of an emergency and created 911 signs.  They practiced calling 911 and performing “Stop, Drop and Roll,” and other ways to keep themselves safe in an emergency.  Then, to their great surprise, fiery red, shining fire engines came by and firefighters taught the yeladim how to remain safe in case of a fire. Of course, sitting in the fire truck and seeing all of the fascinating equipment was a memorable experience.
