One-hundred-fifty of New York’s most prestigious real estate professionals gathered on Tuesday for the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Real Estate and Financial Services Divisions Ninth Annual Golf Outing at Glen Oaks Country Club in Old Westbury.

The daylong event, to support the FIDF well-being and educational programs for IDF soldiers, honored Robert J. Ivanhoe, vice chairman of Greenberg Traurig LLP and senior chairman of the firm’s Global Real Estate Practice.

Guests included Ofer Yardeni, FIDF NY Affinity Groups Chairman and CEO of Stonehenge; Marty Burger, co-chair of FIDF NY Real Estate Division and CEO of Silverstein Properties (which owns the World Trade Center); Chuck Rosenzweig, co-chair of FIDF NY Real Estate Division, of Criterion Real Estate Capital; James Prusky, co-chair of FIDF NY Financial Services Division, of Crecera Finance Management Company; and Scott Stackman, co-chair of FIDF NY Financial Services Division, of UBS.

Also attending the event were Israel Air Force (IAF) Attaché to the United States Brig. Gen. Amir Keren, incoming IAF attaché Brigadier Genera Asaf Vardi, and Corporal Eden (20), a Lone Soldier from Los Angeles who is serving in IDF’s Artillery Corps.

“To witness the camaraderie amongst this group is inspiring and goes a long way towards supporting the brave men and women of the IDF,” said FIDF New York Real Estate Division Director Andrew Feuerstein.

The Real Estate Division, created in 2006, plays a central role in the activities of the FIDF tri-state region.
