Activists Dr. Paul and Drora Brody hosted Brigadier General (Res.) Amir Avivi at a melave malke in their Great Neck home on May 2. Visitors heard Avivi, founder and chair of Israel’s Defense and Security Forum (IDSF), describe the group’s goal of advancing security policies and programs within Israel. Avivi, who retired from the IDF in 2017 with over 30 years of military, counterterrorism and national defense experience, also spoke after Mussaf at the Great Neck Synagogue, and again at seudah shlishit there.
