Touro’s HS trial

Students from Jewish Academy, Suffolk’s only Jewish day school, visited Touro Law school on Tuesday to participate in a mock trial exercise with law students.

This Thursday and Friday, Touro will host the National Moot Court Competition on Law and Religion, on its Central Islip campus. Students from law schools throughout the country will take part; judges will include federal and state court judges, including Judge Rick Haselton, Chief Judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals, who is an Orthodox Jew.
