489 Central Ave., Cedarhurst

This aptly named shop has a wide range of crew neck and turtleneck shells, in every size, color and sleeve length you can imagine. All merchandise is Shell Station’s own Pea, Bee & Jae brand, and comes in three different fabrics: cotton, Lycra and Modal, a natural fiber made from beech trees that is lightweight, breathable, and extremely comfortable.

The Cedarhurst store just opened this summer, and is now displaying a collection of four fall/winter colors: teal blue, luggage tan, hunter green and burgundy.

Pricing is simple: kids cotton and Lycra shells are $15, Modal $18. Women’s cotton shells range between $18 and $24, Lycra $20 and $24, and Modal $24 and $25. Turtlenecks are $28. They have every sleeve length, as well as cropped shells, maternity tops and bodysuits.
