Purim contest seeks art from kids of all ages

The International Synagogue at JFK Airport is holding a Purim art contest for children.

Entries must be an original drawing or painting, on paper of any size, relating to Purim. Entrants are encouraged to be as colorful as possible. Attach a sheet of paper with your name, address, parent’s phone number and email, name of school and grade. Categories are Pre-K–2, third through eighth grade, and high school.

The winning entries will be displayed in the JFK Airport Arrivals Building Rotunda and the International Synagogue, as well as in the Jewish Star and the Jewish Press.

In addition, those who enter will be competing for three grand prizes of $100 each, six gift certificates of $25 each for an Artscroll publication, and two family admission tickets to the Crayola Factory in Easton PA.
