Kids taught clowing to bring laughter to the sick

A unique opportunity for seventh through eleventh graders to combine chesed with professional medical clown training comes to Woodmere next week.

Clown industry professionals will teach youngsters specialized medical clowning skills required to provide humor to sick people in medical facilities.

This is unique medical clown team is the only one of its kind in the frum community. Participants experience new opportunities for self-expression, creativity and personal development

An open house and fall registration for the 13th annual Lev Leytzan Medical Clown Training Program will take place on Sunday, Nov. 8, at the home of Elana and Avi Fertig, 226 Franklin Pl., Woodmere. Girls session 6:30 to 7:30 pm; boys 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
