HANC Native American (and Purim!) drums

Fourth Grade students at HANC’s Samuel & Elizabeth Bass Golding Elementary School, in West Hempstead, have been studying about Native Americans in Social Studies. They learned about how the Native Americans used pictures to tell stories, then made up picture stories to share with their classmates. The students listened to Native American music while they transferred their pictures onto Native American style drums.

The students are especially excited to be able to use their drums as graggers on Purim!
