Five Towns protests ‘Klinghoffer’ opera

Students from Rambam Mesivta in Lawrence (pictured) and Midreshet Shalhevet in North Woodmere joined demonstrators near the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center on Sept. 22 to protest the Met’s planned staging of the pro-terrorist opera, “The Death of Klinghoffer.”

Among those pictured is Rabbi Zev Meir Friedman with his son Aaron (Rambam's director of operations); Rambam's principal, Rabbi Yotav Eliach, with son Itai; Assistant Principal Hillel Goldman; and Dr. Paul Brody, one of the organizers of the Coalition to Stop the Terrorist Opera, with his son Joey.
