Jewish Star staff hunt

The Jewish Star is interviewing candidates for positions in its editorial, sales, production and distribution departments.

Openings exist for work in the Five Towns, Queens and Long Island (based in Garden City) and on the Upper West Side, Riverdale and Westchester (based in Riverdale).

The Jewish Star is a professional media organization -that offers industry-competitive pay and benefits in a congenial family-friendly work enviroment.

There are full-time and part-time  openings and some freelance opportunities. Flexible hours are possible for some positions.

Interviews are ongoing, with positions starting after the holidays.

Help is wanted in these areas:

•News reporters

•Advertising sales

•Web and social media

•Publication design (requires proficiency in InDesign)

•Newspaper distribution
