Shulamith goes native, does crafts for Chai Lifeline

Posted

At the Shulamith School for Girls, students found a fresh opportunity to help others when the G.O. organized a fun-filled Kislev event that included a chesed project — creating craft kits for the children of Chai Lifeline.

Meanwhile, fourth graders were getting hands-on experience learning about Native Americans in Stephanie Shilo’s class. They made posters depicting the lifestyle of the Iriquois and Algonquian people, quizzed each other about the houses, food, and role of women in the tribes, and some made 3D models depicting what they learned.
