Kulanu's eight-week summer camp ended Tuesday. 30 children with special needs, shared facilities and activities with HAFTR's Camp Hillel; several campers were even mainstreamed into Hillel, accompanied by a trained shadow.
Older campers had their own group, known as "Camp Outlook." No e-mail involved though. campers went kayaking, harvested eggs from chickens, took rocketry lessons and went on nature hikes,  led by Jonathan Cooper, Kulanu's director of community and inclusion services.
