CAHAL held an Evening of Inspiration in North Woodmere drew nearly 100 men and women last Sunday to the home of Rina and Jeffrey Ganeles.

CAHAL’s Executive Director Shimmie Ehrenreich thanked the attendees and the individuals who worked hard to guarantee the evening’s success. He was especially appreciative of the event committee, which spread the word and invited their friends, and Shira Cohen and Noach Haller of CAHAL who coordinated the event.

Following the showing of a video about CAHAL, Jeffrey Ganeles spoke passionately about the program, describing how attending the CAHAL kindergarten class changed his son’s life.

After attending CAHAL for one year, with the wonderful experience of having Mrs. Melody Harris as his teacher, his son was successfully mainstreamed into first grade, Ganeles said.

He then introduced Rabbi Aryeh Lebowitz, Rav of Bais Haknesses of North Woodmere, who gave an inspiring Dvar Torah and spoke about how CAHAL has successfully educated hundreds of local Jewish children, helping them realize their true potential and mainstreaming them in the yeshivas in our community.

The event, held during Aseret Yemai Teshuvah was a huge success and raised money for CAHAL’s Scholarship Fund.
