Ateret Cohanim, which legitimately purchases properties from Arabs in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City and its environs, celebrated its 38th year at a gala in Queens last week. At the desert reception, Joey Brody of Great Neck received a Special Recognition Award for his generosity to the children of Ateret Cohanim as a representative of bar and bat mitzvah celebrants over the last decade.
