Students from DRS attend AIPAC event

Seven students from the David Renov Stahler Yeshiva High School for Boys of the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach attended last week’s AIPAC policy conference in Washington, along with General Studies Principal Dr. Kirshenbaum and his wife.

They heard such speakers as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Vice President Joe Biden, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and four of the five presidential candidates. 

The DRS students attended several breakout sessions on a variety of topics. The school is especially proud of senior Michael Fagin, who introduced a breakout session about soldiers with special needs who serve in the IDF.

On the last day of the conference, Dr. Kirshenbaum accompanied the students to Capitol Hill to lobby the office of Kathleen Rice. the South Shore’s representative in Congress.
