On Tuesday night, thousands of girls anxiously waited in the Nivei Campus in Har Nof to hear the words of strength that would be given by the wives of the four men murdered Kehilat Bnei Torah. The wives of rabbis Moshe Twerski, Hy”d, Aryeh Kupinskyi, Hy”d, Kalman Levinei, Hy”d and Avraham Shmuel Goldberg, Hy”d, after a week of mourning, stood up and portrayed the utmost amount of strength and inspired every single girl in the room.

The words of Mrs. Twerski understood the purpose of her presence, and refused to let down a single tear. We all stood and rose to answer amen to the blessing she recited after finishing her water.

Mrs. Levine thanked appreciated the number of Jewish women in the room. “I keep in my mind that Hashem is supporting us and that’s what is keeping me strong and it’s what needs to keep all of us strong,” she said with resilient smiles and solid posture.

Mrs. Goldberg explained that the father of her husband had died many years before, while standing and praying, wearing a talis and tefilin, the same way that his son had died, and this had been no coincidence. That night, had been his father’s yirtzeit.

She never knew that her husband had received smicha, because he never wanted to brag. It was only when their child went through some papers that she learned that her father was a rabbi. She recounted that her husband kept a notebook filled with anniversaries, birthdays and celebrations and made sure to call them for each one.

Mrs. Kupinsky applauded her husband for being the type of man that would stay in the shul and fight the terrorists instead of running out. At the conclusion of her message she was unable to choke back any more tears and the rest of the room emulated her in that sense. She described the unity that came from this experience.
