Pink-clad girls at Shalhevet aid Sharsheret

October was an inspiring month at Midreshet Shalhevet, with students dressing in pink to show support for all women diagnosed with breast cancer.

Two eleventh grade students, Michal Beer and Rachel Fishbein, raised money for Sharsheret, which helps provide care to Jewish women suffering from breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

Over 300 Shabbat-a-grams and pink phone covers were sold, and all of the profits were donated straight to Sharsheret. Together, as a school, significant funds were raised to help this cause.
