Jerry’s 1st Class try suggests Titanic pudding

My husband Jerry thinks it’s an adventure to have a stopover or two when he flies. His best flight yet was his two stop trip to Israel. He got to visit Romania, the birthplace of his dad. It was a small airport where most employees held more than one position. He was the only person switching flights. He was told where to check in for the flight to Israel. When he got there, the area was dark and empty. He saw a woman vacuuming, and asked if this was the correct area to switch planes.

She got excited and told him to wait. After a few minutes, a small team of officials came in and welcomed him to Romania. They put his carry-on through the tiny security machine (obviously not many passengers switch flights in Romania). Jerry told the workers that his dad was from Transylvania. They got along well and Jerry was grateful when they bumped him up to first class.

Jerry boarded, excited to sit, or shall I say sleep, in first class on the way to Israel. He sat down in his seat, and noticed, that all the seats in the plane looked alike. Where were the wide cushy seats with extra legroom that he always eyed with envy when he boarded planes. You know, those seats filled with passengers lounging comfortably while watching the rest of us schlepping toward the overcrowded, over cramped steerage section, which jerry and I have grown accustomed to. Those first and business class passengers aren’t exactly smirking, but trust me, they’re thinking, “Glad we’re in these comfy seats and not packed like sardines in the back.”

After everyone was seated the stewardess closed a shower-like curtain right in back of Jerry’s seat, and said “Welcome to first class on Air Romainia” Yup, he and the passenger next to him were the two lucky people in first class.
