HALB eyes bus safety

Posted

HALB’s Lev Chana Early Childhood Center conducted bus safety sessions for nursery and kindergarten children last week. They boarded a bus and reviewed such rules as sitting belted in the front half of the vehicle, speaking using indoor voices, and no standing, walking or jumping.

The children themselves provided reasons for the rules. When asked who was in charge of the bus, everyone responded, “The driver!”

They know not to eat or drink on the bus because someone might, chas v’shalom, choke or there might be someone on the bus with allergies.
