DRSers together again … in Israel

Posted

Every year, a number of DRS rabbeim visit alumni learning in nearly 20 different yeshivot in Israel, to reconnect with them, and continue to strengthen the rebbe-talmud relationship that DRS is so famous for. It gives the school tremendous nachat to see so many alumni growing through their experience in yeshiva abroad.

Rabbi Storch and Rabbi Kaminetsky meet with every student, documenting each of their experiences in order to better serve our students when helping them decide where to go to yeshiva in the future.

A reunion is held in Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh, overlooking the kotel, where nearly 100 DRS alumni join together for another taste of DRS.

Rabbi Aryeh Cohen, a popular rebbe in DRS, holds an annual Sholosh Seudot reunion as well the following Shabbos.

DRS — HALB’s Davis Renov Stahler Yeshiva High School for Boys in Woodmere — is proud that 96 percent of its alumni decide to spend a year after high school learning in Eretz Yisroel.
